UNDERSTANDING JOB DESCRIPTIONS

You will receive two copies of your job description. Read them carefully and if you are happy with them sign both copies. One copy must be returned to school and given to Miss Carter in the Business Office.
 
The other copy should be kept by you and taken to work experience on the first day or take it to your interview which will take place before work experience starts. Your employer will go through the health and safety check which is on the reverse side of the job description.
 
Be aware that if you have two different work placements you should receive a job description for each. An example of a job description can be found below.
