GETTING READY FOR YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE

It’s simple but effective. Spending a week with a potential employer will give you a taste of life beyond school and hopefully help you build some idea of what you would like to do regards your future career.
 
All Year 10 students will take part in 5 days Work Experience from Monday 9th July until Friday 13th July 2012.
 
It is an opportunity to experience a career interest, but more importantly it is a chance to develop personal skills and meet the challenges of the world of work.
 
To get the most out of the experience students should set up their own placement, making a private arrangement.
 
Each placement is checked by Calderdale & Kirklees Careers Service to ensure that it meets the require standards of both health and safety and insurance.
