We work with students in Years 9 – 13 providing career-related and impartial information, advice and guidance. We can help you with career planning and signpost you to a range of support services for young people.
In school, we mainly work mainly with Year 11 students; helping to make sure they are aware of all their post 16 options and supporting them with their career plans (click here for more information). We offer at least one individual appointment, either in Year 10 (click here for more information) or Year 11; although we see everyone at the start of Year 11 in small groups. Appointment cards are forwarded via Registers; however, self-referrals are welcome so please let us know if you would like an earlier appointment or if you feel you would benefit from a second interview.
If you are a student in Year 9 (click here for more information), Year 10 or the Sixth Form (click here for more information) you can come along to the drop-in during tutorial, in the Connexions room located in the LRC (no appointment necessary) or alternatively drop in to book an appointment.
We also provide advice and guidance for students and their parents/carers (click here for more information) at various key events through the school year such as Year 11 Parent’s Evening and the Year 9 KS4 options evening.
