We were delighted to welcome apprentices from David Brown’s into school earlier this week to talk to a group of year 10,11,12 and 13 students about engineering and particularly, engineering apprenticeships. The second year apprentices talked about their own experiences in the workplace, how they secured their apprenticeship positions and the career opportunities their training was opening up.

These invaluable insights will put our students one step ahead in the fiercely competitive jobs market and each was able to make an impression on the Training and Development Manager, Tony Allison – and who knows, we may have MFG students training as engineers with David Brown’s in the near future!
